From Ohemaa to Advocate:
Dr. Susan O. Koduah Donates 20 Brand New Desktop Computers to Kumasi Girls’ SHS
On 30th June, 2025, Kumasi Girls’ Senior High School witnessed an inspiring act of an alumnus’ generosity as Dr. Susan O. Koduah (PhD, MSN, RN, OCN), a proud member of the 1993 Year Group, donated 20 brand new desktop computers to her alma mater.
Now serving as an Assistant Professor and SNA Faculty Advisor at George Mason University, School of Nursing, Virginia, USA, Dr. Koduah’s donation is a shining testament of her commitment to empowering young women through education and technology.
The official launch and presentation were held at the school’s ICT Centre, where the computers were received by the Assistant Headmistress – Academic, Ms. Mabel Oppong, on behalf of the school.
“This thoughtful gesture from Dr. Koduah will make a tremendous impact in the teaching and learning of ICT,” said Ms. Oppong. “She is a true role model for our current students, showing that Ahemmaa are capable of reaching the highest heights and giving back meaningfully.”
The desktops will enhance digital literacy and equip students with practical skills needed in today’s tech-driven world.
